CNA Caregiver

The CNA Caregiver provides compassionate home health care services for seniors within their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This role involves independent work, delivering personalized care through daily, weekly, or live-in visits, primarily focusing on elderly and post-surgical patients. The caregiver uses standard CNA tools to assist with a variety of personal and medical needs while fostering a supportive and empathetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Assist with medication management and reminders
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
• Support patient mobility and prevent falls
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families
• Ensure patient safety through vigilant monitoring
• Maintain clear and timely communication with patients and medical staff

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in home health care
• Proven skills in patient care and infection control
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Competency in vital signs monitoring
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Effective time management abilities
