Pharmacy Case Manager (Remote)

Location: Remote (training/schedule aligned to CST) — HQ listed as Lewisville, TX
Type: W2 Contract (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)
Pay: $20.00/hr

Position Overview

We’re hiring Pharmacy Case Managers to support patients and healthcare providers by helping remove barriers to therapy access—guiding cases from benefit verification through medication delivery while delivering a high-touch, patient-first experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound/outbound calls with a focus on one-call resolution when possible
  • Manage the case lifecycle with urgency (benefit verification → prior auth/appeals → coordination → delivery)
  • Conduct benefit investigations/verifications and collaborate with provider offices, specialty pharmacies, and payers
  • Support prior authorizations and appeals (requirements, submission support, outcomes)
  • Educate patients on coverage and expected out-of-pocket costs
  • Process enrollments via fax, phone, and electronic methods
  • Review forms/documentation for completeness and update records as needed

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years experience in a patient-facing / high-touch customer support environment (preferred)
  • Hub services / patient support services experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/commercial coverage processes (preferred)
  • Strong communication, empathy, problem-solving, and data-entry skills
  • Comfortable working independently and navigating multiple systems (MS Office, web-based tools)
  • High School Diploma/GED (preferred)

Schedule & Training

  • New hire training: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST (mandatory attendance)
  • After training: must be flexible to work shifts during Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–8:00 PM CST

Remote Work Requirements (Required)

  • Dedicated, quiet, private workspace
  • Hardwired high-speed internet (no WiFi/cellular/satellite)
  • Minimum speeds: 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload≤30 ms ping
  • Company equipment is provided; you provide the internet service
