Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or RF Power Engineering with over 10 years of experience.
  • Experience with multi-kilowatt high-power RF environments operating within the 1 to 60 MHz frequency spectrum.
  • Understanding of transmission line theory, impedance matching, and high-frequency RF calibration techniques.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis tools including SPC, Cpk, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Gage R&R (MSA).
  • Mastery of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies including 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa diagrams.
  • Competency using RF and electrical measurement tools including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, TDR meters, and Hi-Pot testers.
  • Working knowledge of international manufacturing and electrical standards including Semi S2, IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-620, and ISO9000.
  • Experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing, inspection methodologies, and electro-mechanical fabrication.


Responsibilities:

  • Resolve system and component-level technical problems encountered during the product lifecycle with emphasis on New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Manage a global network of technical suppliers and contract manufacturers to audit and improve their localized Processes of Record (POR).
  • Direct engineering changes (EC), product qualifications, and industrial quality system improvements for critical RF distribution assemblies.
  • Evaluate supplier quality infrastructure by defining, reviewing, and tracking the execution of robust root cause corrective actions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to integrate analog, digital, and computer control networks into unified electro-mechanical tool systems.
