About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Vehicle Dismantler to join our automotive recycling team. This hands-on position is responsible for safely dismantling vehicles while identifying and preserving quality OEM parts for resale.
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical challenges, and taking pride in doing the job right, this could be the perfect fit. You'll work both independently and in conjunction with a team to help maximize the value of every vehicle that comes through our yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Remove engines, transmissions, body panels, suspension components, electrical parts, and other reusable OEM parts.
- Inspect parts for quality and identify damage or defects before they're added to inventory.
- Properly drain and dispose of automotive fluids, following environmental and safety regulations.
- Label and organize removed parts for inventory and processing.
- Work closely with the inventory and quality teams to ensure parts are accurately identified.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Report damaged equipment or safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive repair or mechanical experience.
- Previous experience dismantling vehicles or working in an automotive shop.
- Experience operating forklifts, loaders, or other heavy equipment (training available if needed).
- Familiarity with OEM automotive parts and vehicle systems.
