Low Voltage Technician

Job Title:

Low Voltage Technician (Short‐Term Project)

Location:

El Centro, CA

Project Duration:

2–4 weeks (with potential for additional projects)

Pay Range:

Prevailing Wage

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
• Run cable in commercial environments (ladders, lifts, ceilings)
• Install and configure AV equipment (displays, speakers, projectors, racks)
• Mount and secure devices according to site plans
• Read and follow wiring diagrams and scope-of-work documents
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Communicate progress with project leads

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of low voltage or structured cabling experience
• Ability to terminate RJ45 connectors and test cable runs
• Experience with AV installs preferred
• Must have basic hand tools (punchdown, snips, drill, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Must pass background check (if required by site)
