Job Details

• Position: MRI Technologist
• Location: Phoenix
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift
• Schedule: 5x8
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $2700 to $2890

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for MRI procedures
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
• Administer contrast agents as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate MRI equipment and optimize imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Review images for accuracy, quality, and completeness before submission for interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards and radiation-free imaging protocols
• Educate patients regarding procedures and answer questions to alleviate concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance issues as needed
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
• ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Active Arizona state licensure if applicable
• Experience with contrast-enhanced MRI procedures preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
