Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to manage and analyze logistics metrics and support inventory and supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing reports to assist in decision-making and identifying improvements in supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze logistics metrics related to stock shortages, inventory levels, annual usage trends, transportation costs, and supply chain performance.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support management decision-making and operational readiness assessments.
- Identify supply chain bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce response times.
- Analyze material demand trends, backorders, procurement activities, and delivery performance.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, fulfillment rates, transportation performance, and spare parts availability.
- Support Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities including supply support, provisioning, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accountability and accuracy across multiple operational and support locations.
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages requiring procurement or redistribution actions.
- Support management of consumable materials including hardware, piece-parts, petroleum products, compressed gases, cleaning supplies, office supplies, first aid materials, and common tools.
- Assist in forecasting material requirements based on usage trends and operational demand.
- Support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities.
- Maintain inventory records and asset visibility within enterprise inventory management systems.
- Support Government Property accountability requirements and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Analyze transportation costs, transit times, and shipping performance.
- Monitor calibration schedules for tools and equipment and coordinate recalibration activities as required.
- Maintain compliance with all program policies, procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support operational readiness and deployment preparation efforts.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting logistics, supply chain, inventory management, material planning, or related operations.
- Experience analyzing and reporting material tracking, inventory performance, procurement, transportation, or scheduling data.
- Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or logistics databases.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or logistics information systems.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and develop meaningful metrics and reports.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense programs.
- Experience with Government Property management and inventory accountability.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, provisioning, sparing analysis, and logistics readiness reporting.
- Experience supporting domestic and international transportation operations.
- Familiarity with hazardous material shipping requirements.
The work environment includes standard hours with 9-hour days, and every other Friday off. The role involves working with advanced technologies and maintaining compliance with program policies and safety standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
