Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay: $70–$75/hour (DOE)
Practice Setting: Multi-Facility Behavioral Health Program

Location: Seattle, WA

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care across multiple clinical sites. The provider will conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and develop individualized treatment plans in a collaborative behavioral health environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications per regulations
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams
• Provide care across multiple facilities as scheduled

Travel & Scheduling:

• Travel required between assigned clinical sites
• Scheduling based on operational needs and leadership coordination
• Flexibility required for multi-site coverage
• Mileage reimbursement provided for inter-facility travel (excluding home-to-primary site commute)

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC)
• Active Nurse Practitioner license
• Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority
• Behavioral health experience preferred
• Willingness to travel between assigned locations (Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle & Everett) WA
