Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician III in a metal fabrication facility, where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing machines, including a new blasting machine.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment, as well as utility-related equipment, following all safety procedures.
- Support the installation of new equipment.
- Assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
- Document all repairs in the company's maintenance management system.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
- Adhere to and promote safety policies and procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous waste, lockout/tagout programs, and hearing and eye protection policies.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical-Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics.
- Knowledge of PLCs and CMMS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in any industry.
- Mechanical experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFD, and sensors.
- Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to tolerate variable climates.
- Oilfield experience is acceptable.
- Welding, cutting, or fabrication experience.
- Good tenure without frequent job changes.

Work Environment
Work in a metal fabrication facility handling equipment such as benders, lasers, pipe plasmas, welding machines, forklifts, paint booths, blasters, conveyors, and CNC machines. The available shifts are 1st shift (6 am - 4:30 pm, Mon-Thurs), 2nd shift (4 pm - 2:30 am, Mon-Thurs), and 3rd shift (6 am - 6:30 pm, Fri-Sun). Enjoy shift differentials for nights and weekends, and a casual dress code suitable for a manufacturing environment.
