Job Description
Step into a dynamic K-12 educational environment for the upcoming school year as a valued School Psychologist. This full-time, contract opportunity begins in August and focuses on supporting elementary students with comprehensive psychological services, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.
Your primary role will involve managing an elementary caseload, focusing on initial evaluations and re-evaluations to ensure every student receives the individualized support they need. Collaboration is a core part of this position—you’ll have the opportunity to team up with other experienced school psychologists within the district, allowing for growth and shared expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with elementary caseloads highly preferred
- Strong skills in conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and academic needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for initial and re-evaluation cases
- Develop intervention strategies and recommendations tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support special education eligibility and services
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain timely documentation and adhere to relevant legal and ethical standards
