Job Description
An established mid-sized plaintiff's firm located in the Denver Tech Center, is seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to support a complex caseload. This position will primarily support attorneys in medical malpractice litigation, with opportunities to assist attorneys in other practice areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
Conduct legal and factual research; prepare summaries and timelines
Support cases from intake through trial
Review and organize medical records, discovery, and evidence
Obtain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Coordinate expert witnesses and Rule 26 disclosures
Prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
Track deadlines, court dates, and statutes of limitation
Maintain electronic and physical case files
Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
Support multiple attorneys and practice areas
Required Skills & Qualifications
4+ years of medical malpractice or complex civil litigation experience
Paralegal certificate, degree, or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of state/federal court procedures and discovery rules
Strong understanding of medical and legal terminology
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Experience handling large medical record and discovery productions
Proficiency with e-filing, case management, and Microsoft Office
