ESL Instructor

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for an ESL Instructor position in Sanford, NC. Shift: Part-time (9–11 hours per week); Classes held Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays from 1:00pm–2:30pm and 3:00pm–4:30pm
Weekly paycheck
Pay: $40.00/ hr

Responsibilities:

Deliver 9–11 hours per week of ESL/ESP instruction, teaching grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills to adult learners
Develop and implement instructional materials and lesson plans tailored to frontline workforce needs
Maintain program records, administer testing, and complete grading in alignment with program standards
Participate in faculty meetings, recruitment events, and partner meetings, while demonstrating strong classroom management

Requirements:

Demonstrated fluency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to teach English language learners effectively
Knowledge of teaching strategies, ESL methodologies, and adult learning principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills

Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
