Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role providing occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student caseload of approximately 40-45 students, across two district locations. With a strong emphasis on fine motor and sensory skills, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact on student development within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Recent school-based OT experience (preferred)
- Comfort working onsite with K-12 students
- Strong background in fine motor and sensory integration strategies
- Ability to handle a varied caseload, including both direct therapy and consultation-only students
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
- Experience working independently; no COTAs provided
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students at two district sites
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans with a focus on fine motor and sensory needs
- Complete assessments and progress reports, participating in IEP meetings as required
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Manage documentation in compliance with district and federal requirements
- Travel between Angels Camp and Copperopolis sites as scheduled
