Job Description
Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Director part-time, 4 hours a week position to lead our clinical team at Cache County-Utah in Logan, Utah.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and oversee medical diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care of patients in a correctional facility
- Provide and manage direct medical patient care
- Maintain medical records and charts documenting all medical services rendered
- Direct, coordinate and supervise clinical services provided by professional staff; review and approve treatment protocols, clinical policies and procedures; and provide in-service training for the clinical staff
Qualifications:
- tate license as a MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA license
- Current CPR certification
- Supervisory experience in correctional health care preferred
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
