Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
\n
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process.
\n
• Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions as per physician's orders.
\n
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures when needed.
\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
\n
• Deliver postpartum care to ensure the well-being of mother and newborn.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Current CA state license and registered nurse certification required.
\n
• Minimum of 1 year experience in labor and delivery nursing.
\n
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
\n
• Proficiency in using Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and Epic charting system.
\n
• Strong ability to float to different units based on facility needs.
\n
• Willingness to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
\n
