Production Manager

We are looking for a Food Production Manager to own the full production processing of our dairy product lines. This manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality dairy production safely and efficiently while minimizing losses for the company.  The Manager will oversee all of the day to day operations, including but not limited to all production processing, food safety, managing a team, proper equipment sanitation and maintaining inventory on ingredients and packaging.

Responsibilities:

Complete ownership of the dairy processing operation.
Working with the existing team of 10+ staff members and driving them to produce at the highest standards.
Working with Quality Control Manager & Food Scientist to ensure all dairy products meet food safety/quality standards.
Prepare KPI reports on various areas of the production.
Identify ways to improve an increase in production and a reduction in losses.
Create preventative maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime.
Deliver accurate product tracking and inventory management.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience working in a production or similar environment, food & dairy manufacturing is a plus.
3+ years of experience managing a team.
Bi-lingual Spanish
Good Computer skills and familiarity with programs and software such as Microsoft Windows, MS Office Suite, Netsuite, etc.
High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in business is a plus
Hands on mechanical experience is a plus.
