Practice Setting

- Join 2 OB/GYNs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife \n
- Level II Nursery \n
- Advanced Womens Center featuring: \n
- State-of-the-art Labor, Delivery & Recovery (LDR) suites \n
- Private postpartum suites \n
- MFM Ultrasound onsite \n
- Cerner EMR \n
- On-site surgical team \n
- 24-hour anesthesia support \n
- Collaborative care model with CNMs, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers \n
- Approximately 300 deliveries annually \n

Schedule

- Clinic Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM \n
- Dedicated OR Block Time: Monday & Friday, 7:00 AM 12:00 PM \n
- CNM takes first call \n
This structure allows for both surgical consistency and balanced call coverage.

Position Overview
\nAs an OB/GYN at MDH, you will provide full-spectrum womens healthcare services, including:
\n- \n
- Annual wellness exams and preventive screenings \n
- Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions and infections \n
- Contraceptive counseling and fertility guidance \n
- Prenatal and postnatal care \n
- Labor and delivery services \n
- Gynecologic surgical procedures \n
- Evaluation, treatment, referral, or admission of patients as clinically appropriate \n
You will collaborate closely with clinic staff, MDH medical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
\nQualifications
\n- \n
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school \n
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency. \n
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology \n
- Eligible for unrestricted Illinois medical license \n
- Current DEA registration \n
- ACLS certification \n
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days) \n
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within 6 months if not current) \n
- Proof of approved Fetal Monitoring Course attendance every 2 years \n
- Strong communication and collaborative skills \n
