The Role

Under the direction of the CMO, you will deliver comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the full age spectrum in a federally qualified community health center setting.

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive health maintenance and continuity of care for diverse patient panels
  • Diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, including minor surgical procedures
  • Physical examinations, preventive medicine, and behavioral health integration
  • Formulating differential diagnoses, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, implementing treatment plans
  • Referrals to specialists as clinically indicated
  • Supervision and chart sign-off for mid-level providers
Qualifications

Required:

  • MD or DO from an accredited School of Medicine
  • Board Certified in a Primary Care discipline
  • Current California medical license (MD or DO)
  • Current Federal Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
