Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs, determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and develops individualized care plans. Additional duties include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN advocates for evidence-based practices and provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:
 

• ASN required
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• BLS-AHA certification
• ACLS-AHA certification
• Telemetry certification

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Critical care experience
• Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis
• BSN preferred

Required Hard Skills:
 

• Circulating nurse
• EPIC
• Mac-LAB
• Impella
• Balloon Pump
• PCI
• Right heart cath
• Left heart cath

Required Soft Skills:
 

• Circulation during pacer insertion experience
• Pulmonary Embolism case experience
