Position Summary:

Delta Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging. The MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment, follows established imaging protocols, and maintains compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain MRI procedures and screen patients for MRI safety.
  • Position patients and operate MRI equipment according to physician and radiologist orders.
  • Monitor patients during examinations and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Review images for quality and transfer completed studies to PACS.
  • Perform daily quality assurance checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling, patient follow-up, and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and DNV regulations and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Registered MRI Technologist certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of MRI experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

All required licenses and certifications must be maintained in accordance with Delta Health policies.
