Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Description:

An established long-term care and rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Participate in staff education, scheduling, and performance management.
• Assist with surveys, audits, and infection prevention activities.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Illinois, in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
