What You'll Do

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll provide clinical care and occupational health services that promote employee wellness, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

???? Assessing and treating employees with occupational injuries and illnesses

???? Administering immunizations, TB testing, drug and alcohol screenings, and other occupational health services

???? Performing pre-employment, annual, and regulatory health screenings

???? Communicating with employers, referring providers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Case Managers while maintaining patient confidentiality

???? Assisting with Workers' Compensation case coordination and return-to-work processes

????️ Supporting compliance with OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation requirements, DOT regulations, and infection prevention standards

???? Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care

????️ Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

❤️ Providing exceptional customer service while promoting a positive experience for employees and employer partners

What We're Looking ForRegistered Nurse (RN)

✔ Current Illinois Registered Nurse License required

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or RN with a bachelor's degree in a health-related field or Business Administration required

✔ Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

✔ Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program

✔ Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse License required

Qualifications for Both Roles

✔ Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required

✔ Previous occupational health, employee health, ambulatory care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred

✔ Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation, DOT regulations, drug and alcohol screening, and case management preferred

✔ Knowledge of infection prevention practices and vaccine administration preferred

✔ Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
