Position Summary:

The Bilingual Medical Assistant / CNA supports the medical team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to clients. This role assists with clinical services, client intake, testing, education, and follow-up, while ensuring all medical information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing direct patient care in a mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with client intake, including obtaining medical histories and documenting patient information
  • Perform CLIA-waived tests (including pregnancy and STI/STD testing) when trained
  • Take and record vital signs and assist with basic clinical procedures
  • Provide education to clients on pregnancy and STI/STD-related topics
  • Support follow-up communication with clients regarding lab results and care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and assist with EMR data entry (eClinicalWorks)
  • Assist in transitioning clients to educational, navigation, and support services
  • Prepare treatment rooms and support medical staff during client visits
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and medical information
  • Support general medical administrative tasks (ordering supplies, preparing intake materials, etc.)
  • Complete required training programs (including Care Net and Subsidum)
  • Collaborate with medical staff and support special projects as needed

What You’ll Need:

Required Qualifications

  • CNA, Medical Assistant, Med Tech, or comparable certification
  • 1+ year of hands-on clinical experience in a healthcare setting (such as a clinic, physician’s office, OB/GYN practice, urgent care, or hospital)
  • Experience taking vital signs, documenting patient information, and supporting clinical procedures
  • Experience working directly with patients in a compassionate, client-facing role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree
  • 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in women’s health, OB/GYN, or reproductive health settings
  • Experience with EMR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) and medical charting
  • Experience with lab testing, specimen handling, or CLIA-waived testing

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and EMR systems)
