Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

Position Summary

The Senior SQL Server Database Administrator will administer and support SQL Server environments supporting SharePoint, enterprise business applications, reporting platforms, and cloud-hosted systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server clustered and standalone environments.
• Configure backups, recovery, failover clustering, and disaster recovery.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Support application deployments and database releases.
• Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Manage SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS environments.
• Monitor database health and security.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience.
• Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows Server environments, SQL clustering and failover, backup/recovery operations, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
• Strong T-SQL development experience.
• Database performance tuning expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft SQL certifications.
• Azure SQL experience.
• MySQL administration experience.
