We are a diverse, creative, and passionate crew who is always looking to discover and implement fresh, innovative ideas and make some pretty amazing things.JOB SUMMARYThe Letterpress Operator prepares, operates, and maintains printing presses. Principles duties include installing and adjusting printing plates, loading and feeding paper and controlling ink flow. Ensuring the quality of the final printed piece. The Letterpress Operator is required to manage and oversee the operation of a printing press to ensure quality in the printed results, the functioning of the machine, and other quality assurance checks. Also, may be asked to operate the press in the absence of the Lead Operator.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•\tInterfaces with supervision and line employees to ensure product is produced efficiently within quality specifications.•\tOperate machinery in efficient manner in accordance with company standards.•\tResponsible for the set-up and follow through on product from start to finish according to specifications.•\tAssist in training general workers and lower classification employees about operation of the press.•\tAssist in routine maintenance and minor repairs on the press as needed.•\tMaintain level of housekeeping that complies with company standards.•\tOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS•\tH.S. diploma or equivalent.•\tRequired 2 years of experience as a Letterpress Operator.•\tColor vision required.Our Company offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short & long-term disability, PTO, and Company-paid holidays.
