Purchasing Coordinator

Our growing HVAC company is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, inventory levels, and material ordering for our service and installation teams.

This is an office-based position focused on purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory management. HVAC experience is not required. We are looking for someone with prior purchasing, procurement, inventory control, materials management, or supply chain experience who enjoys staying organized and keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the purchasing of parts, materials, and equipment
• Coordinate equipment and material orders for installation projects
• Track usage trends and help identify slow-moving inventory
• Work with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery updates
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
• Provide backup dispatch support when needed (training provided)
• Assist with various operational and administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory control, materials coordindtion, or related experience is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional phone presence and strong communication skills
• Comfortable working with vendors, technicians, and customers
• Proficiency with computers and business software systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Experience in HVAC, construction, distribution, manufacturing, auto or industrial environments is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
