Janitor Housekeeper

Purpose of the Position:

Keep the facility clean and sanitary.

Essential job functions:

• Clean and inspect restrooms hourly for sanitation and supplies.
• Inventory miscellaneous supplies.
• Assure parking lot and front of building is free of trash and debris daily.
• Keep yard mowed and weeded.
• Assist maintenance with routine tasks.
• Empty trash in designated areas daily.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong organization skills.
• Ability to operate fork lift.
• Minor mechanical-electrical ability.
• Self-motivated.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in the environment as a majority of work will be outside.
• 100% walking and standing.
• Ability to physically push lawn mower; carry weed eater and blower up to 8 hours a day.

Schedule

Week: 40+

Lunch: 1/2 hr

Standing: 15%

Walking: 85%
