Job Description
Job Title: Guest Room Attendant
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager
Summary: The Guest Room Attendant is a critical operational role responsible for the meticulous cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms and suites. This position operates on a performance-based compensation model, requiring a high degree of efficiency and self-motivation to ensure every unit meets the resort's premium "GRANDE" standards for guest satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute the daily cleaning and sanitation of guest bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, patios, and bedrooms to exact resort standards.
- Perform systematic room stripping, including the removal of all soiled linens and towels to the laundry facility as required.
- Remake all guest beds according to standard, ensuring a crisp and professional presentation for every arrival.
- Replenish all guest-facing amenities, including soap, shampoo, coffee, tissues, and dish detergents, to maintain full par levels in each unit.
- Set out fresh towels and terry in bathrooms and kitchens following established staging protocols.
- Vacuum all interior flooring and sweep patios to remove debris and maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Ensure the proper removal of all garbage and recyclables from guest rooms and suites.
- Adhere to the guest service standards by maintaining high-level cleanliness and attention to detail to drive positive guest feedback and ranking scores.
- Assist in the maintenance of common areas, keeping hallways, elevators, and stairways free of trash and debris during transit between units.
- Maintain rigorous accountability for cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any service gaps or maintenance needs immediately to the Housekeeping Office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with confidence. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience Requirements: Previous experience in resort housekeeping and/or laundry operations is highly preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on cleanliness and unit presentation is mandatory.
- Operational Efficiency: Ability to handle multiple operational demands and meet time-sensitive cleaning deadlines during high-occupancy turn days.
- Guest Centricity: Strong focus on maintaining high standards of service as a representative of the resort.
- Technical Skills: Competent in following detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.

Other Qualifications
Availability: Open and operational seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Rules and Regulations: All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel for extended periods while pushing a linen/supply cart or cleaning. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds on occasion with assistance.
Work Environment: Primarily climate-controlled indoor settings, with occasional exposure to outdoor patio cleaning and transit between units
