Delta Health is looking for a skilled Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you’ll perform a broad range of diagnostic tests that directly support accurate diagnoses and patient treatment across all age groups. - Perform a wide array of testing in chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, immunohematology, microbiology, and more.
- Conduct routine and complex analyses on blood, tissues, body fluids, and exudates.
- Assess blood cell morphology and carry out chemical analyses for critical clinical insights.
- Manage the full testing process—from sample collection and identification to analysis, instrument maintenance, and final result verification.
- Accurately record and report results while troubleshooting abnormalities or equipment issues.
- Communicate clearly with healthcare professionals, patients, and other departments.
- Provide guidance and oversight to MLTs and MTs-in-training.
- Step into department leadership responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science—or medical technology (accredited institution).
- ASCP/HEW certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Technologist.
- Hospital laboratory experience (1+ year preferred).
- Strong technical skill, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing, pathology, physicians, and external partners.
