Senior Application Developer

Position Summary

The Senior Application Developer will lead development, enhancement, and support activities for NICHD's portfolio of business applications supporting grants management, contracts management, human resources, financial systems, and scientific programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise .NET applications.
• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Develop workflows and business process automation solutions.
• Integrate applications with NIH enterprise systems.
• Develop APIs and web services.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Lead quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years leading application development efforts.
• 5+ years experience with .NET Framework/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Ajax, and SharePoint 2016/2019/SE/SPO.
• 5+ years Nintex K2 automation experience.
• Experience with ActivePDF, Telerik RadControls, iText/iTextSharp, SharePoint Search, and web services integration.
• 5+ years writing SQL Server and Oracle stored procedures.
• 3+ years USWDS experience.
• Experience with claims-based authentication.

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH grants systems experience.
• Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications.
• Experience with Power BI and Qlik Sense.
