Nelson Auto Center is seeking a dedicated Automotive Detail Manager to lead our detailing team in Fergus Falls, MN. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle appearance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for automotive care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the automotive detailing department.
• Ensure all vehicles are cleaned, polished, and detailed to company standards before delivery or customer pickup.
• Develop and implement detailing processes and quality control measures.
• Train and mentor detailers to improve their skills and ensure consistent work quality.
• Manage inventory of detailing supplies and order materials as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure timely completion of detailing work.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive detailing, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and motivate a team effectively.
• Familiarity with automotive cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if necessary.
