Role Overview

The Director of Annuity Solutions is a senior, revenue-driving leader responsible for expanding annuity adoption and retirement income solutions across the firm. Operating within a Family Office model, this role partners closely with advisors to integrate solutions that address income gaps, longevity risk, and principal protection.

This role works directly with advisors, leadership, marketing, and strategic carrier partners to shape the firm's retirement income strategy and drive adoption across the organization.

This individual will influence, support, and drive adoption of annuity strategies by enhancing advisor engagement, strengthening client conversations, and improving consistency across the firm's planning process. With access to an established client base, built-in advisor network, and dedicated marketing support, this role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful growth at scale.

This position would be full-time onsite at our corporate office in Scottsdale.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the firm's annuity and retirement income strategy, driving measurable growth by partnering with advisors to deliver solutions that address income gaps, longevity risk, principal protection, and sequence of returns risk

  • Partner with advisors to elevate the quality and consistency of retirement income conversations and client engagement throughout the planning process

  • Influence and support adoption of annuity solutions by providing education, case design, and real-time guidance that strengthens advisor confidence and improves client outcomes

  • Encourage alignment with the firm's planning process, helping advisors deepen client relationships and advance opportunities into more comprehensive conversations, including third meetings

  • Collaborate with an established advisor force and leadership team to identify opportunities within a large, existing client base-unlocking significant organic growth

  • Leverage the firm's marketing platform and resources to promote education, drive awareness, and increase firm-wide adoption of annuity solutions

  • Serve as a trusted internal expert on annuity and retirement income solutions, delivering high-quality illustrations, recommendations, and case strategy tailored to client needs

  • Act as a key liaison between advisors and IMO/FMO partners and carriers, ensuring strong support, effective case design, and seamless execution

  • Support the continued evolution of the firm's Family Office model, positioning retirement income planning as a core differentiator

What Success Looks Like · Drive a 20-40% year-over-year increase in annuity production across the firm · Increase advisor engagement and confidence in retirement income planning · Establish annuities as a core component of holistic wealth management, not a standalone solution · Help scale a consistent, repeatable approach to retirement income planning across the organization

Qualifications

  • Clean BrokerCheck record with a strong reputation for professionalism and ethical conduct

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required

  • Active securities licensing required: Series 65 or Series 66

  • Active Life & Annuity license required

  • 5+ years of experience as a financial advisor, annuity specialist, or in a client-facing advisory role with demonstrated success driving revenue

  • Proven track record of generating and closing annuity business, not just supporting it

  • Strong understanding of annuity products, including fixed, indexed, and variable annuities, and their role in retirement income planning

  • Experience influencing advisors, improving adoption, and integrating solutions into broader financial plans

  • Strong experience using CRM systems, Salesforce preferred, to manage pipelines and track opportunities

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial illustration tools

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly

  • Highly proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong focus on outcomes and growth

  • Strong service orientation paired with a revenue-focused mentality

· $125,000 to $150,000 base salary plus quarterly bonus, total compensation $200,000-$300,000+
