Warehouse Floater
Pay: $22.73/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Overtime Hours: Flexibility required for extended shifts (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM)
Weekend Hours: Some Saturdays required based on production volume
Job Responsibilities:
- Cross-Functional Support: Rotate seamlessly between workstations—including production lines, packaging, order picking, and packing—to ensure continuous operational coverage.
- General Labor: Perform daily material handling tasks such as lifting, stacking, wrapping, sorting, and staging materials.
- Operator Assistance: Support machine operators and assembly lines by keeping staging areas stocked with raw materials and components.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor production and packaging quality to ensure all finished products meet company standards.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all assigned stations.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 2–3 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience required (prior experience rotating through multiple departments is a plus).
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk continuously, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and stacking safely.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt quickly to changing daily assignments and work mandatory overtime shifts as needed.
- Communication: Ability to understand, read, and follow verbal and written instructions in English, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Safety & Gear: Must possess and wear composite-toe or steel-toe safety shoes.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance and reliable transportation are essential to support the team.
