Building Maintenance/ Cold Storage/ 1st Shift

Position Description: Work will include general building maintenance, daily ammonia system requirements, and repairing railcars. This position will routinely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment operation. This is indoor and outdoor and physical work involving kneeling, bending and stooping.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform daily ammonia system requirements Perform routine maintenance on railcars
• Perform routine maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing
• Assist with inspecting and maintaining (physically and visually), interior and exterior buildings, parking lots, and grounds
• Repair building fixtures
• Maintains maintenance area in clean and orderly condition
• Assist with Snow removal
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
• High school diploma or GED
• Dependable attendance, hard work, team player
• Ability to use all tools required to repair railcars
• Perform heavy, physical labor
• Operation of various hand and power tools
Working Conditions:
• Able to work outdoors in extreme all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow)
• Able to work in conditions that include dirt and dust
