Catalyst Study Hall is a Christian learning community where teachers partner with parents to help children grow academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. We are looking for passionate educators who love Jesus, love children, and believe every child deserves to be known, encouraged, and challenged.

Whether you're a credentialed teacher, experienced homeschool parent, retired educator, or children's ministry leader, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom of approximately 10–15 students.
• Teach daily lessons using provided curriculum (primarily The Good and the Beautiful).
• Create a joyful, orderly, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage students academically while building confidence and character.
• Integrate Biblical values naturally throughout the school day.
• Partner with parents through positive communication.
• Participate in daily chapel and school community events.
• Maintain student records and basic progress reports.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and leadership.
• Foster a culture of kindness, responsibility, curiosity, and respect.

• Loves Jesus and desires to minister to children.
• Enjoys building meaningful relationships with students and families.
• Believes parents are the primary educators of their children.
• Can manage a classroom with both grace and consistency.
• Is organized, dependable, and proactive.
• Works well as part of a close-knit team.
• Has a servant's heart and enjoys helping build something meaningful.

Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including:

• California credentialed teachers
• Experienced homeschool parents
• Children's ministry leaders
• Christian school teachers
• Retired educators
• Tutors with significant classroom experience

A teaching credential is appreciated but not required for every position.
