Sales Support Specialist

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour shift with a 1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sales Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in order entry, shipping and logistics, and administrative support. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal training.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage high-volume order entry while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Coordinate parcel and freight shipments.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory availability and allocate inventory during the order entry process.
  • Manage a high volume of emails using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Work across multiple computer systems and dual monitors.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Provide administrative and sales support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous order entry experience required.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with shipping and logistics, including parcel and freight shipments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Inventory allocation experience during order entry is a plus.
