In this hands-on role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of machinery and equipment, including manual and CNC lathes and mills, as well as pipe and electrical systems. Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Request repair or replacement parts as needed and maintain accurate data and inventory reports in the company database.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications
  • Experience with manual and CNC lathes and mills, as well as pipe and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring and testing instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings.
  • Experience maintaining data and inventory reports in a computer database.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive blueprint reading ability.
  • Experience with measuring tools and hydraulic systems.
  • Background in assembly and repair of mechanical equipment and/or machinery.
  • Electric/electronic experience and knowledge preferred.
