Cook/Cashier

The Cook/Cashier role involves preparing food while providing excellent customer service and managing cash transactions efficiently. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 members, this position operates on a daily shift basis at a single location. The ideal candidate combines culinary skills with strong customer interaction abilities to maintain food safety and order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to menu and safety standards
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service throughout the shift
• Take and process orders promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in cash handling and customer service skills
• Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Knowledge of basic sanitation practices
