Oncology Concierge - 14 Hours/Week

The Oncology Concierge is responsible for providing comfort measures and other non-medical needs as required by oncology patients.

Job Relationships
Reports to the Operations Manager

Principal Responsibilities
Exemplify excellent customer service towards patients, families, staff and visitors.
Provide non-medical comfort measures for patients upon arrival and during visit.
Keep a log of patient location in the infusion room.
Clean patient area as patients leave.
Stock linens, recover pillows and refill blanket warmer as needed.
Make coffee and tea as needed.
Keep snacks and refrigerator stocked.
Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
Provide excellent customer service and adhere to SC Way customer service philosophy.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High School graduate or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to stand 95% of the time.
Ability to push patients weighing <200 lbs in a wheelchair.

Working Environment
Oncology infusion room.
