Job Description
As a Helix Creator, you wear specialized sensor equipment to perform human-like motions that guide a humanoid robot and generate high-quality motion data to train advanced AI models. You play a key role in testing, data collection, and feedback, helping to refine cutting-edge robotics technology while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Wear sensor equipment and perform precise, human-like motions to guide the robot through a wide range of movements.
- Collect accurate, high-quality motion data to support the training and improvement of AI models.
- Carefully follow data collection procedures to ensure consistency and reliability of motion datasets.
- Monitor equipment and systems during data collection and flag any issues, bugs, or irregularities as they arise.
- Provide clear, daily feedback to the team on system performance, data quality, and process improvements.
- Use computer systems and basic data entry tools to record, organize, and track motion data and test results.
- Assist with testing activities related to AI and robotics performance as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in a production and lab environment.
- Stay focused during repetitive tasks and remain on task without becoming distracted.
- Collaborate with a goal-driven team of engineers by communicating observations and suggestions for improvement.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with basic computer skills, including using standard software and interfaces.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage digital records.
- Experience or comfort with testing processes in a technical or production setting.
- Familiarity with electronics and computer systems.
- Strong physical coordination and the ability to perform controlled, repeatable motions.
- Excellent spatial awareness and the ability to understand and replicate specific movements.
- High level of focus and attention to detail, especially during repetitive tasks.
- Ability to embrace constructive feedback and apply it to improve performance.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in data collection or production environments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
