💼 Position: Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our assembly team. This role focuses on building and assembling mechanical and electrical components for switchgear systems in a fast-paced production environment. If you have mechanical experience and enjoy working with tools and diagrams—this is the opportunity for you!

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Assemble complex bus bar and mechanical components (up to 6 laminations) for switchgear units
• Follow engineering drawings, diagrams, and custom specifications to complete builds
• Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly operations across multiple departments
• Interpret blueprints and layouts to ensure correct configuration of parts and systems
• Use logical thinking to build and modify assemblies based on changing specifications
• Work in various positions including standing, bending, and holding components overhead
• Operate tools such as drill presses, band saws, grinders, and cutters
• Meet production deadlines in a fast-paced, high-quality environment

🔧 Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous mechanical assembly experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Strong math skills and logical problem-solving ability
• Experience with hand tools and industrial machinery
• Ability to adapt to design changes and work under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset

💲 Pay & Shifts

• A shift : Day shift (hours vary by department)
• B Shift : Evening shift (extended hours may apply)
• Overtime may be required on short notice based on production needs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
