Job Title: Entry Level Production Assembler
Job Description
The Production Assembler performs semi-repetitive assembly and adjustment work in a manufacturing environment, using a variety of hand and simple power tools. This role follows established procedures and work instructions to build, inspect, and package products while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices according to work instructions and blueprints.
- Perform semi-repetitive assembly and adjustment tasks using relatively simple and consistent techniques.
- Read and interpret manuals, procedure manuals, assembly materials, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to complete assigned work accurately.
- Use basic mechanical skills to fit, fasten, and secure parts and subassemblies.
- Inspect parts and assemblies to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Package finished products according to specified requirements to prepare them for shipment or further processing.
- Operate within a manufacturing environment, following all safety guidelines and using tools and equipment correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safe operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve basic assembly or quality issues.
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Ability to read and understand manuals, procedure manuals, and assembly materials.
- Basic mechanical skills, including the use of hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools.
- Ability to work with and understand the metric system and use tape measures accurately.
- Experience with inspection and packaging in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a wood manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Comfort working with semi-repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures and adapt to updates in work instructions or drawings.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
