Job Title: Field Installer
Job Description
The field conveyor installer is a specialized tradesperson or millwright who assembles, aligns, and maintains material handling systems (like belts and rollers) in warehouses, factories, and industrial plants. They travel to client sites to turn blueprint designs into functional automation hardware.
Must have:
Basic Hand Tools
Reliable Transportation to get to and from traveling job sites
Conveyer Install Expereince
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Project Foreman to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established deadlines and budgets.
- Oversee daily project field operations and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Foreman.
- Read and interpret project plans, perform project layout in the field, and make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate installation.
- Coordinate schedules, staff, equipment, and resources to meet project requirements efficiently.
- Communicate and interact effectively in the field with departments responsible for production and installation to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow established safety rules, regulations, and procedures at all times and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Attend site-specific training sessions and strictly follow procedures as outlined in the training.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Perform welding tasks as required to support installation and project needs.
- Travel to various job sites as needed to support project execution.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of field experience.
- Ability to read and implement project plans and perform accurate project layout.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in coordinating crews and field activities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Welding experience.
- Proficient in the safe use of power tools and hand tools.
- Commitment to following safety rules and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to job sites.

- Comfort working in distribution and logistics facility environments.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with field teams and production and installation departments.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and changing project requirements.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
