As a Cell Production Operator, you support solar manufacturing operations by operating automated production equipment and following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role ensures stable, efficient production while maintaining safety and cleanroom compliance. Weekly pay starting at $19.50 - $20.50/hr and great benefits available!
Job Duties – Primary responsibilities for Production Machine Operator jobs include:
- Operating assigned automated production equipment according to SOPs.
- Monitoring equipment alarms, responding appropriately, and escalating issues to the Shift Leader.
- Conducting routine equipment checks and end-of-shift closure activities.
- Performing visual inspection of wafers and production output.
- Conducting manual input/output material handling as needed.
- Maintaining accurate production documentation (MES, PO, etc.) and logging consumables removed from inventory.
- Communicating equipment, production, or quality issues to the Shift Leader promptly.
- Wearing all required PPE, including cleanroom suit, gloves, safety glasses, and mask.
- Adhering to cleanroom, environmental, health, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely in a cleanroom environment and wear all required PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for up to 12 hours.
- Ability to lift up to/less than 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and consistency in task execution.
