American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Ohio, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and a valid OH or compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts) \n
- Every other or every third weekend required \n
- Hospital emergency department setting \n
- Patient ratio of 1:3.5 \n
- Documents and charts using Epic EMR; medications dispensed via Pyxis \n
- Floating required \n
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred \n
- Must be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care \n

- Active OH RN license or compact RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI \n
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience \n
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference — no coworker references accepted \n

- 36-hour orientation provided \n
- Navy scrubs required \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates are accepted \n
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month separation period \n
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period \n
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to a fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed packet to complete urgently \n
- Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc, ranging from surface lot access with shuttle service to 24/7 garage access \n
