American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN (Scrub/Circulator) for a 13-week travel contract requiring an active Maine or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of surgical or perioperative experience.
Details- OR setting with responsibilities spanning scrub, circulator, and PACU coverage as needed
- Monday through Thursday day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Active RN license in Maine or a Compact state currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic computer skills
- CNOR certification preferred
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
- Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative period
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all members of the perioperative team
- ACLS certification required for PACU assignments; may be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already held
- High degree of confidentiality and professionalism expected in all aspects of patient care
