Pay Range:$45.00 - $47.40 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to produce complex 2D engineering drawings. 
• Check drawings for accuracy including dimensions, spelling, drafting standards and completeness utilizing correct project design criteria.
• Participation in field walk downs as necessary, to obtain measurements, verify as-built documentation, and develop field sketches in support of plant modifications and design installations will occasionally be required. 
• Develop designs with minimal direction from Design Supervisor, Design Lead or Engineering and will concurrently support multiple projects. 
• Develop drawings and resolve design discrepancies.
• Ability to interface with the customer and their construction representatives to integrate designs to satisfy their standards is a must for this position.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in drafting, design or engineering technology or 4 years of equivalent experience in the design of electrical and controls systems.
• Must have 5 years (minimum) of experience in engineering, drafting and electrical design practices in addition to the education requirements.
• Knowledge or use of Raster Design or 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Ability to utilize various drafting and CADD techniques as required for project requirements.
