Civil Engineer - Site / Land Development

Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is ready to take on increased project responsibility and work on a variety of site development projects from concept through construction. This is a full-time on-site position in Wheeling, IL. We are also open to candidates with a background in field engineer or land development.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Lead and support civil engineering and site development projects.
• Prepare and review grading, drainage, utility, and site development plans.
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with local, state, and municipal regulations.
• Coordinate with land surveyors, planners, and internal project teams.
• Communicate directly with clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with site development, land development, municipal, or transportation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
