As a Night Auditor, you'll play a critical role in both guest service and hotel operations, serving as the overnight face of the resort while ensuring daily financial transactions are balanced and accurately reported.

Position Overview

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing and reconciling daily hotel transactions while providing exceptional overnight guest service. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting functions to ensure the accuracy of financial records and a seamless transition between business days.

What You'll Do

• Perform nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions
• Balance and post room, restaurant, bar, retail, and other resort revenue transactions
• Verify cash, credit card, and other payment activity for accuracy
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports
• Reset systems and registers for the next business day
• Assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest requests during overnight hours
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and resolve concerns
• Maintain security awareness and monitor resort activity during overnight operations
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with resort policies, procedures, and accounting standards
• Support other Front Office responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous Night Auditor, Front Desk, Accounting, or hospitality experience preferred
• Resort or hotel experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, accounting, or business education is beneficial
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
• Comfortable handling cash and financial transactions
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with hotel property management systems is preferred
• English proficiency required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
