Job Description
Providence Place Senior Living (Hummelstown) is seeking to recruit a dynamic Director of Talent and Retention. This position leads the program to recruit, onboard and retain new team members in Providence Place Senior Living. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is expected to oversee the recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring processes across seven campuses in PA. The Director of Talent and Retention will also advise and coach line managers on ways to improve retention of team members. This is a salaried/exempt position. Day travel to communities is an essential part of this position.
Starting Salary based on experience: $60K-$80K.
Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Leading the recruiting process of new employees
- Developing and guiding the campus processes of screening, interviewing and shadowing
- Overseeing the onboarding process-- orientation and training of new employees
- Training nursing employment specialists (and managers) in interviewing and hiring skills
- Analyzing the monthly turnover data at each campus to identify causes, with a focus on front line, nursing staff.
- Identifying root causes of turnover (via exit surveys) and developing plans of action to reduce them
- Training Nursing Coordinators and Line Managers to tackle causes of turnover
- Guiding Shift and Team Leaders to build high performing teams
- Improving overall retention results, especially in nursing department
- Travel to campuses 2-3 days per week.

Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree, preferred
- Experience in Human Resources, Operations and/or Training fields
- Experience with ADP, preferred
- Must have a valid driving license and clean driving record
